The Team
Rob Major
- Rob is the owner and operator of Major Home Inspections, Inc. He serves as a licensed inspector in both Virginia #338000218 and North Carolina #4850. Since 2002 he has conducted over 6500 real estate inspections. He is also an ASHI Certified Inspector (American Society of Home Inspectors), National Radon Safety Board Radon Specialist, and runs a NRSB certified Radon Lab. He is a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan University and has continuing education at both Penn State and Rutgers University. Rob has also served on the Board of Directors at Prince William Association of Realtors and served as Chairman of Board at Prince William County Habitat for Humanity. He has also worked in the construction industry and has served on several Home Owner Association Boards. He has a wide range of experience inspecting a variety of properties including multi-million dollar estates, large vacation or rental homes, historic properties found on the Historic Register, traditional residential homes, townhouses, condos, and commercial business. He is a wealth of knowledge and is just a phone call away!!!
Jeff Roy
- Jeff is a valued member of our family and plays an intricate role on the Major Home Inspections team. Jeff has a keen eye for detail and is dedicated to his work. He serves as a licensed Home Inspector in North Carolina #4939. Jeff is a Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) with InterNACHI # 21051914. He is a graduate of Cape Fear Community College and Inspection Certification Associates. Jeff has lived in North Carolina most of his life in both rural and coastal areas and is well versed with the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Jeff has a wide variety of inspection experience including coastal properties, residential houses, townhouses, and condos. Jeff is a local resident of Kitty Hawk, NC, and is ready to serve your inspection needs!!!
Lisa Major
- Lisa is the co-owner and valued member of the Major Home Inspections, Inc. team. Lisa serves as our Business Manager and for the past 20 years she has dedicated her time and talents to make sure we are thriving and successful. Her commitment to customer service is paramount and her administrative skills keep our office operating at full capacity. Lisa received her education through Tidewater Community College and Virginia Wesleyan University. Lisa has lived all over the World, and don't be surprised if her English accent slips out. Lisa has a big heart for those in need and she is the kindest person we know. Lisa is proud to call Kitty Hawk, NC her home!!!
Ashley Roy
- Ashley Major is a dedicated member of our family and has been working for Major Home Inspections since 2014. Ashley currently serves as our Marketing Director. She is responsible for our advertising, web development, social media, event planning, and education coordination. Ashley is a graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan College and studied Business Administration and Marketing. Ashley's personality brings a smile to anyone she meets and is always dedicated to helping others. She loves photography, music, and Boston Terrier puppies! Ashley currently resides in Kitty Hawk, NC, and is proud to be part of the OBX community.
Papi Major
- Papi is a dedicated member of the Major Home Inspection team. He is by far the cutest member of our team. He is originally from Puerto Rico but was forced to find a new home after Hurricane Maria. Papi is bi-lingual, fun-loving, and is full of energy. He is willing to retrieve anything you throw his way. He is always up for a ride, or ready to just hang out. You can usually find him in the office with Lisa providing support as necessary.
